U.S. Chamber Endorses Mark Messmer for Indiana’s Eighth District

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Rep. Mark Messmer for reelection in Indiana’s Eighth Congressional District. The organization said it backs candidates who support policies intended to encourage innovation, economic growth, and opportunities for businesses and workers. Kathy Zhu, the Chamber’s Great Lakes Region manager, pointed to Messmer’s experience as a small-business owner and his positions on taxes and regulations. She said the Chamber views him as a supporter of free enterprise and Indiana’s economic growth.
